Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Parkroyal, I was pleasantly surprised by the balance of luxury and value it offers. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions, and parking is conveniently affordable at just £12 per day. The accommodations themselves were immaculate, featuring modern decor and every amenity one might need, including a flat-screen TV and electric kettle for that much-needed cup of tea after a long day of exploration. The room was exceptionally clean-housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work. The breakfast was another highlight, with a generous selection that included a particularly well-prepared full English, not to mention the friendly service from staff like Tracey, who always seemed willing to help. While the decor is beautiful and inviting, the true charm stems from owner Tony, who creates a welcoming atmosphere that feels less like a hotel and more like a home. So, for travelers weighing cost against comfort, Parkroyal effectively delivers on both fronts.
